Six Critical Practices of Leading Teams (frontline and management level leaders)
Course Date: 5/27, 11/04
When individual contributors are promoted to first level leaders, they need to shift how they think and what they do in order to succeed in this rewarding, yet challenging role. This course focuses on developing the essential skills to achieve sustainable results with and through others.
This is a two-day Leadership orientation includes presentations from the across the LLUH executive leadership team and provide a framework of information and culture of leadership to build upon.
Orientation Dates: 9/21 (Day One) and 9/28 (Day Two)
This course will focus on leader skills in building trust, clarifying expectations, and utilizing technology for greater accountability and engagement in a telework environment.

CRITICAL LEADERSHIP COMPETENCY AREAS
In this course, presenters will explore and equip leaders in the art of crucial conversations, skillful confrontations, negotiation and offering meaningful feedback.

This introductory course helps leaders increase their personal credibility and practice behaviors that increase trust.

In this session leaders will focus on three of five areas foundational to creating and maintaining trusting relationships, Organizational Trust, Market Trust and Societal Trust.

This course explores bias as a natural part of the human condition, and how the brain works. Discover how to identify and adjust for bias and act with courage to make real change.

This monthly course is designed to facilitate culturally appropriate health care education and practice at Loma Linda University Health. A different topic will be presented each month with a connection and challenge to live out the scripture Micah 6:8 “ He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?”
